This easy Coffee Chocolate Bar Recipe uses just 3 simple ingredients, no double broiler, and no added oil. The chocolate flavors and coffee flavors marry perfectly in this easy desert.

– 16 ounces high-quality dark chocolate – 2 tablespoons espresso powder – Whole or crushed coffee beans - optional for added crunch

STEP ONE & TWO

– Line a sheet pan or baking dish with parchment paper or grab some chocolate bar molds. – In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second increments, stirring in between until it becomes smooth and fully melted. Be careful not to overheat it, as chocolate can burn easily..

STEP THREE, FOUR, & FIVE

– Once melted, mix in the espresso powder. – Pour the chocolate mixture onto the prepared sheet pan/baking dish or into chocolate bar molds. – Sprinkle the top of the chocolate mixture with whole or crushed coffee beans if desired.

STEP SIX & SEVEN

– Transfer to the refrigerator for at least one hour to set. – Once set, remove from the refrigerator and break or cut the slab of chocolate into smaller, bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife or simply remove the bars from the molds.
